How to get help
Prepare and sign a written complaint identifying the public education agency, the alleged legal violations and supporting facts, relevant dates, student information when applicable, and a proposed resolution. Send a copy to the named public education agency when filing with TEA. Submit by the methods listed on the official page.
Who this service helps
Any person or organization may file, including a third party. The complaint must concern an alleged special education violation occurring within one calendar year before TEA receives it. Anonymous complaints are not accepted.
