How to get help
Submit the official Family Care application. Gracewood reviews the application, may invite the family for a campus tour and interview, develops measurable goals with accepted applicants, and schedules move-in when space is available.
Who this service helps
Applicants must be at least 18, have one to four children under 18 in full-time custody, have no open CPS case, not be pregnant, have no current illegal-drug use and at least 12 months of sobriety, have no criminal history, be working or in school, and have a driver's license and reliable vehicle. Applicants must participate in the full program and have sufficient English understanding to interact with staff and residents.

About this service
Gracewood provides residential services to help single mothers and children move toward safety and independence. Family Care residents may receive education and employment assistance, housing and transportation assistance, money management, recreation, community-resource connections, aftercare, counseling, and life-skills support. The program is not an emergency shelter.
