How to get help
Submit a separate application for each crime through the CVC Portal or use the official paper application. Provide the law-enforcement agency and report number when available, describe requested expense categories, include current contact and insurance information, and upload or later submit available bills and supporting documents.

A crime victim or claimant applying for a victim; when the victim is a child or deceased, a parent, legal guardian, spouse, or other authorized person may apply. Full eligibility depends on the crime report, cooperation, deadlines, expenses, and program law.
