How to get help
Complete the online complaint intake form, identify the respondent and appraisal, explain the conduct at issue, disclose related litigation and other complaints, identify witnesses, attach the appraisal report and supporting records, certify the information, and submit.
Who this service helps
People with a conduct-based complaint about an appraiser, appraisal management company, education provider, or other matter within TALCB jurisdiction. The Board does not resolve disputes based solely on the appraised value and cannot investigate an alleged violation filed more than four years after it occurred.

About this service
TALCB conducts a preliminary review to determine jurisdiction and whether sufficient evidence indicates a possible violation of its statutes, rules, or the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Staff may request additional information and informs the complainant of the resolution.
