How to get help
Mail a letter describing the case and the facts supporting actual innocence, including the convicted person's Texas Department of Criminal Justice number, to the published Fort Worth address. Do not submit a case by email, phone, fax, or the general contact form. Initial replies may take several months, and the full review process can take years.
Who this service helps
The applicant must claim actual innocence, have a felony conviction from a Texas court, and have completed direct appeals. The organization does not review misdemeanors, pending criminal cases, general legal-help requests, or matters not involving actual innocence.
