How to get help
The incarcerated person must mail a written request directly to the clinic. Requests cannot come from family or friends and are not accepted by telephone or email.
Who this service helps
A prisoner currently serving a sentence from a Texas felony conviction, without counsel and without a pending direct appeal. The clinic does not accept DWI or federal cases, or requests from people on parole or probation or who have completed the sentence.
