Sand Tray Therapy allows clients to arrange miniature figures in sand to externalize emotions, memories, conflicts, and internal experiences that may be difficult to express verbally. Kairos integrates the method with parts work, EMDR, and expressive arts. The provider describes its use for attachment or developmental trauma, teen identity concerns, anxiety, anger, depression, dissociative identity disorder, and personality disorders.
