About this service

Trained peer facilitators lead this group for birthing people who experienced mental or physical trauma during childbirth. Participants discuss the effects of trauma, emotions, and coping skills without recounting detailed birth stories that could trigger others. Birth trauma is based on the participant's perception, and no diagnosis is required.
