How to get help
Ask a participating homeless-service provider or shelter to request Homeless Court service. A shelter or program representative documents participation and provides advocacy information for the court. Contact the Coalition for general program information; case acceptance and disposition remain court decisions.

People experiencing homelessness who have eligible City of Houston Class C misdemeanor cases and are participating in a local shelter or homeless-service program. Each participating organization has its own program requirements, and the court process is voluntary.

Houston Homeless Court addresses City of Houston Class C misdemeanor cases through alternative sentencing.
