How to get help
A hospital or treatment facility must submit the complete official referral form by email. The Texas Health Resources respite team reviews referrals with Austin Street intake; acceptance is required before arrival.
Who this service helps
Single adults age 18 or older who are independent in activities of daily living, are not a danger to self or others, are clear of infectious disease, do not need dementia care or specified substance-withdrawal management, and will participate in care.
