About this service
The K9 Program uses rescued dogs to support purpose, trust, routine, companionship, and symptom-management skills. The Academy option teaches intensive service- or emotional-support-dog training and may allow a participant to purchase the trained dog; the Experience option provides lower-commitment therapeutic interaction, basic handling, classroom learning, and K9 nature hikes.
