Email the program coordinator to ask about upcoming dates or organizational training. Organizations may request a hosted training when at least 10 people will participate.
Who this service helps
School personnel, emergency first responders, law enforcement, and other community members in Texas DSHS Region 8; the training is intended to help school-age youth, adults with serious mental illness or disturbance, and the public through informed referrals.

About this service
SACADA offers Adult Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid to school personnel, first responders, law enforcement, and other community members. Eight-hour courses are available in person and online and include an action plan, practice activities, and an overview of local resources.
