How to get help
Any adult may file an Application for Emergency Apprehension and Detention concerning a mentally ill loved one believed to present significant danger. A peace officer may also initiate emergency apprehension when legal conditions are met. Call the Probate Mental Health Court at 210-335-2536 for procedural information; call 911 for an active emergency.
