How to get help
Referrals may come from Central Magistrate, jail, probation, county courts, defense attorneys, the district attorney, treatment providers or the community. After attorney permission, the court case manager conducts screening and the Mental Health Court team decides admission.

The problem-solving court works with offenders diagnosed with mental illness or a co-occurring disorder. Participants receive access to treatment and community resources, medication management, intensive case management, supervision and recurring court review through a three-phase process.
