Who this service helps
Children and adolescents ages 3 through 18 who live in Atascosa or Wilson County in a non-institutional setting with a legally authorized representative, or are legally emancipated; have serious functional impairment or acute severe psychiatric symptoms; are expected to require inpatient care without waiver services; and meet Medicaid eligibility requirements.

The YES Waiver provides intensive community services intended to reduce or prevent psychiatric inpatient care.
