Who this service helps
Household income below 80% of area median income; HUD-approved homebuyer education; no home ownership during the prior three years; U.S. citizenship or permanent-resident status; an eligible Montgomery County purchase outside Conroe city limits; a sales price within current limits; housing debt-to-income ratio no more than 43%; at least $500 in average cash assets; qualification for an eligible 30-year fixed-rate loan; and a passing Housing Quality Standards inspection. Current property and manufactured-home rules also apply.
