Use the Start Today registration link on the official Housing and Social Services page or call 713-393-8700. Staff assess housing needs, eligibility, and available case-management, referral, or limited financial-assistance options. Shelter, funding, and housing placement are not guaranteed.

People who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless because of nonpayment of rent or mortgage associated with an economic or life crisis. Current program, income, documentation, funding, and geographic requirements are determined during intake.
