Complete the official Take the First Step form and allow up to three business days for contact, call 817-332-6329, or use first-come walk-in screening during published hours.

People affected by substance use. Financial assistance for referred treatment is determined through screening and approval.

Service area: Cooke, Denton, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise counties

Phone: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Walk-in screenings at West Campus: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cost / fees
OSAR resources are free; referred treatment may have separate costs or financial-assistance rules.
About this service
The OSAR program is a starting point for people affected by substance use. It can assess needs and connect eligible uninsured or underinsured people to possible state-funded treatment; it does not guarantee treatment or funding and is not an emergency-response service.
