How to get help
Visit the Wise County Center for same-day walk-in Open Access intake Monday–Friday. Daily new-intake spaces are limited, so arrive shortly before the office opens at 8:00 AM. The child must attend with a legal guardian and required guardianship or custody documents. Call 940-627-1251 for current details.

Youth ages 3–17 who meet Texas Resilience and Recovery guidelines; final eligibility is determined at assessment.

Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance are accepted. For youth without coverage, fees are assessed using household income, and no one is denied services because of inability to pay.
About this service
Helen Farabee Centers provides case management through its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services program. After an eligible child's initial assessment, a case manager explains available services, helps develop an individualized recovery plan, and arranges follow-up services.
