How to get help
Visit the Wise County Center for same-day walk-in Open Access intake Monday–Friday. Daily new-intake spaces are limited, so arrive shortly before the office opens at 8:00 AM. The child must attend with a legal guardian and required guardianship or custody documents. Call 940-627-1251 for current details.
Who this service helps
Youth ages 3–17 who meet Texas Resilience and Recovery guidelines established by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission; final eligibility is determined at assessment.

Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance are accepted. For youth without coverage, fees are assessed using household income, and no one is denied services because of inability to pay.
About this service
Helen Farabee Centers offers behavioral health assessment within its Child and Adolescent Services program. A licensed practitioner conducts the initial assessment, and eligible youth are assigned a case manager to develop an individualized recovery plan and arrange follow-up services.
