How to get help
Call the Behavioral Health Intake Department at 682-885-3917 with the child's date of birth and insurance information. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Who this service helps
Children ages 2 through 12 who are in psychiatric crisis and require 24-hour supervision. The program also serves some children with profound autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or complex medical conditions.

The Inpatient Psychiatry Program provides 24-hour supervision, highly structured crisis-stabilization treatment, individualized planning, positive behavior reinforcement, school, group and family therapy, recreation therapy, parent education, and coordinated medical specialty access for children with severe psychiatric symptoms.
