How to get help
Entry may follow step-down from inpatient care, a telephone intake evaluation and psychiatrist review, or an emergency-department assessment and psychiatrist recommendation. Call 682-885-3917 with the child's date of birth and insurance information.
Who this service helps
Children ages 5 through 17 with acute psychiatric symptoms that are difficult to manage but do not require 24-hour care and who are not at immediate risk of harming themselves or others.

The Partial Hospitalization Program provides a full day of therapeutic treatment and academics for children and teens who need intensive psychiatric care without 24-hour supervision. Individualized plans can include medication management, group and family therapy, recreation therapy, coping-skills groups, parent education, school, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
