How to get help
Call to schedule an intake appointment and complete the enrollment packet. Bring a DD214, military ID, or another indicator of qualifying military service when available; the center states that staff can help while documents are being obtained. Veterans in crisis are seen by a staff member the same day. The 24/7 Vet Center Call Center can connect callers with support.
Who this service helps
Veterans and service members, including eligible National Guard and Reserve members, who meet Vet Center service criteria; eligible family members may participate when their involvement supports the Veteran or service member. Certain bereaved military families are also eligible. VA health care enrollment and a service-connected disability are not required.

About this service
Fort Worth Vet Center offers individual, group, couples, family, bereavement, military sexual trauma, and PTSD counseling in a community-based non-medical setting. Specialty approaches include EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the center provides referrals to VA and community resources when additional treatment is needed.
