Who this service helps
Applicants must be ages 14–22, have a disability and be eligible for or receiving special education or related services, and be enrolled in secondary, alternative or nontraditional, or postsecondary education.

Service area: Eligible students with disabilities in the Rural Capital Area, including Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell, Burnet, and Blanco counties.

About this service
The Summer Earn & Learn program is a partnership of the Texas Workforce Commission, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Participants receive work-readiness preparation and paid workplace experience lasting five weeks or more.
