Who this service helps
The primary YouthBuild program supports ages 16–24 pursuing a GED or high school diploma. Separate AmeriCorps opportunities are available for high-school graduates ages 18–28.

About this service
Participants spend part of the day in high-school education and part in paid trade training in health care, manufacturing and information technology, or construction. The program offers case management, individualized learning plans, basic-needs support, industry-recognized certifications, and connections to internships, apprenticeships, and college.
