Apply through the issue-specific online form after it opens Monday at 9:00 a.m. Capacity is limited. Accepted applicants are scheduled for a telephone consultation the following week; the clinic is not a drop-in helpline.

Advice and further-service decisions consider household income, assets, service area, legal issue, and agency capacity. Representation is limited and requires additional eligibility review.

Service area: Central Texas applicants who meet VLS service-area requirements; the administrative office is in Travis County.

The clinic offers legal advice for civil matters including family law, housing and landlord-tenant issues, consumer matters, employment, bankruptcy, expunctions and nondisclosures, probate, real property, wills, public benefits, debt collection, and estate planning. It does not handle criminal, immigration, or civil-rights cases.
